From November 15 to 19, the tenth “Challenge Cup” national graduate student extracurricular academic science and technology works contest was held in Tianjin Nankai University. There are in total 611 research paper of Natural Science and science & technology works, and 273 social investigation reports of Social Science entering the finals. The works “Simply special-purpose moving robot for helping disabled” from SSPU School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering enters the finals.

 

    SSPU delegation, about 10 people, led by assistant secretary of the Party Committee, Mr. Li Shiping leaved for Tianjin to attend the finals on November 15. The works "Simply special-purpose moving robot for helping disabled" gained second prize joyfully on science & technology invention works.

    The contest is sponsored by Chinese Communist Youth League, China Association for Science & Technology, Ministry of Education, All-China Students Federation and Tianjin City People’s Government. More than 600 mainland universities, 25 universities from Hong Kong、Macao and Taiwan attended the contest. American Yale University, British King’s College, etc, in total six foreign universities also attended the contest for the first time.
