Party members in SSPU eagerly paid “special party membership dues” to express the support for earthquake relief work. According to the request of the Central Ministry of Organization, all levels of party organizations fully respect party members’ wishes and insist the voluntary principle. Up to June 16, more than 800 party members in SSPU paid over ¥262,018 voluntarily, among them 84 people paid over ¥1,000 “special party membership dues”.
