On the afternoon of February 23, school beginning ceremony of 2007 new students of School of Adult & Continuing Education was held in Yunfeng Theater. SSPU vice-president Zhu Yixin、dean of the School of Adult & Continuing Education Bo Lehong、secretary of the general branch Chen Jianping、assistant dean Lin Jianhua、Jiang Ming and so on attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Secretary Chen Jianping.

 

    At half past one in the afternoon, the ceremony was inaugurated with the solemn national anthem voice. Dean Bo Lehong delivered a welcome speech and introduced briefly the basic circumstance of the School. Afterwards, assistant dean Lin Jianhua, teacher representative Yuan Linyun, new student representative Zhang Siqun, etc also made a speech respectively.

 

    Finally, vice-president Zhu Yixin expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt congratulations to the new students on behalf of SSPU. He emphasized the importance of learning and hoped that the students would study hard and make contributions to the nation.

 

    The ceremony was ended successfully in a burst of warm applause. About 1500 new students attended the ceremony.
