On January 14, 2008 university needy students subsidizing conference organised by Shanghai Education Committee was held in Science Auditorium. SSPU assistant secretary of the Party Committee Li Shiping、section chief of the Student Department Jing Xiaofeng and 5 excellent needy students attended the meeting.

 

    This is the annual summary conference of the pecuniary aid work in Shanghai. SSPU’s work summary was gained great concern by Shanghai Education Committee. Wang Wenli from the School of Humanities gave a speech as a student representative in the meeting.

 

    Vice-mayor Yang Dinghua delivered a lecture in the meeting. He highly affirmed SSPU work of helping needy students and requested the relevant every aspect to understand the important meaning of pecuniary aid work.

 

    This is also an award-giving conference of Shanghai City Scholarship. 20 students from SSPU were awarded Year 2007 Shanghai City Scholarship.
